"Mexican churches celebrate opening of churches at traditional religious ceremony"

"One hundred thousand of the faithful gathered at he Villa de Guadalupe, Mexico the other day, to pay their annual reverence to the Shrine of Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe, and gave thanksgiving for the settlement of the turbulent church and state problem, and the opening of churches. This marked the first time since 1925, that the archbishop Diaz and priests held these services. This pictures shows a view in front of the Basilica, with the picturesque bazaar of hundreds of stands, where candles, religious ornaments and food food were sold to the pilgrims."
